Lost Acre Tavern Reviews

The greatest pub in the Southwest Suburbs, with a great staff to serve you, with a great selection of beers, and some really great food to match. I might also add that this establishment is very Veteran Friendly with some exceptional patrons as regular customers. I often stop in for an occasional drink and to read the Tarot for fun, and to tell Ghost Stories to Friends. You can catch up on the neighborhood news, and pop outside for a cigarette and some chit chat, they also have some great TV programs to watch. A great place to visit for a drink, or just to hang out and relax. A Friendly Environment and Atmosphere without hassles, great music and good times. I would recommend this place to anyone!!!

Stumbled on this place accidentally. Good drink prices. TouchTunes jukebox. Put it on your bar crawl list.

A nice friendly place to be. The establishment throws all kinds of benefits that help the local community.

The Lost Acre Tavern is far more than a "Blue Collar" neighborhood dive bar. This is an independent bar that's been in business forever. The original rectangle bar is dated as hell and seats about 35 very happy content regulars. The bartenders are absolute professionals. People here are actually diverse; they wear Wranglers, Levis, Lee, Work n' Sport, Oshkosh, Smith's, Duluth Trading, Faded Glory, Hanes, CarHartt, Columbia and Dickies. All in all, a well rounded group of dedicated "Beer Guzzlers". Definitely a classic "I Love This Bar" (sing-a-long with me) shit-hole kinda place!

Always can rely on great carry out sandwiches from Lost Acre. Recommend the poor boy with extra garlic butter. Friendly staff.

It's a townie bar, which if your in to that type of place it's great. Men's room is in pretty rough shape, urinal doesn't flush, stall has no door, so your not dropping a deuce at this bar. Cash only, no credit cards, though there is an ATM, and I think a cheaper ATM (and bathroom) at the Shell station next door. The food is actually pretty good and that kind of surprises me every time I order it, because the place itself is pretty run down. The staff is nice and you really need to be a bad drunk for them to kick you out. Bartenders do card anyone new so if your underage wanting to get a drink, try somewhere else.

I am going to review this place very fairly with no biases. The bar tenders are great and attentative. The drinks are cheap. This is not my scene, it is more for the 50+ blue collar crowd. It is not fancy, and not a place to meet a girl or a guy or even a feel good type of place. It is actually kind of depressing unless you are looking to get away from wilder bars and young people, then go here. It is cheap to drink here and good staff. They serve food but I never tried it.

Living in Chicago my whole life it's hard to find true good dive bars outside the city. This place nails it with a big square bar in the middle, a few tables, pool table and slots with TouchTunes jukebox. Definitely a local place filled with regulars. If you're looking for a drink and a bite after dropping your kid off at Romeoville Sports Complex it's literally in the parking lot of the facility. Very sweet bartender, friendly crowd and nice strong drinks. I had the double cheeseburger with Swiss and grilled onions and I can't wait to come back and have another one. Seasoned Curly fries on the side, $11 - very big and extremely tasty!! Great bang for the buck, great little dive bar - and the slot$$$$$ seem to pay!!
